Hydronium + O3 + H2O2 + Plasma

THE MOST EFFECTIVE and SAFE SOLUTION for Endoscope Sterilization

A NEW ERA IN ENDOSCOPE STERILIZATION HAS BEGUN!

NO "Diameter and Length" LIMITATIONS under FULL LOAD for All Types of "Lumened Instruments and Endoscopes".
(Ø 2 mm Internal Diameter, Minimum 15 m Length)

HdrOzone GI HRF3000 sterilization system is designed for the safe sterilization of heat- and moisture-sensitive medical instruments, plastics, lumened devices, electromechanical surgical equipment, as well as complex and long-lumen devices such as single- and multi-channel flexible endoscopes.

It can be safely used for the sterilization of long and complex endoscopes, as well as multi-channel flexible lumen endoscopes with up to 4 channels and 4.5 m length. It has verified sterilization capability for lumens down to Ø 2 mm in diameter and up to 15 meters in length.

HdrOzone GI sterilization device is a low-temperature (37°C–45°C) dual-sterilant sterilization system using [Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) and Ozone (O3)] with cold plasma capability.

HdrOzone: Safe Sterilization Process

HdrOzone GI sterilization features vacuum-based gas sterilization technology. It eliminates the lumen, diameter, and length restrictions common to standard hydrogen peroxide sterilizers.

It delivers significantly higher efficacy for complex lumened instruments and endoscopes compared to conventional H2O2 vapor and H2O2 plasma systems. Beyond chemical-reaction sterilization, the system generates highly active hydroxyl radicals, heavy molecules, and plasma activity. It exhibits the gas-phase sterilization characteristics of techniques such as EO. It does not cause corrosion or leave toxic residues on sterilized products, especially endoscopes.

Lumen Program
HdrOzone GI Sterilization Device Lumen Program

Operating with a 58%–60% Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) solution and Medical-Grade Oxygen, the intelligent program design synergizes Ozone and H2O2 to achieve maximum sterilization efficacy at minimum active dosages.

HdrOzone GI Operating Principle: Sterilization is driven by the combined dynamic effect of H2O2, O3, and HYDRONIUM (HO3, HO4, H2O3, H2O4, HO5, OOH, H3O, etc.) heavy molecules, radicals, hydroxyls, and active ions.

HdrOzone GI Thanks to advanced process engineering, items processed in the sterilization device require no post-sterilization aeration and are immediately ready for use. Byproducts consist strictly of water vapor and oxygen, ensuring complete safety for healthcare personnel, patients, and the environment.

HdrOzone GI sterilization system uses pre-programmed, automated sterilization cycles that minimize human error. Unlike standard hydrogen peroxide sterilizers, there is no need to manually sort instruments or select complex specific cycles. Mixed loading (combining flexible endoscopes with rigid instruments) can be processed together, maximizing throughput while reducing sorting labor and operational costs. HdrOzone minimize cycle expenses, ensuring low operational costs. HdrOzone is effective against biofilms, microcracks, enclosed spaces, narrow lumens, optics, and organic residues in endoscopes.

HdrOzone Menu
HdrOzone GI HRF3000 Main Screen

The wide touchscreen display provides simple and fast operation with language selection and pre-defined program options for sterilization.

Complies with ISO 14937 standards.

Packaging characteristics: synthetic, cellulose-free materials such as polypropylene or Tyvek®; fabric, cellulose/paper, liquid sterilization, natural rubber, etc. are not suitable for this sterilization method.

HdrOzone GI heavy-molecule sterilization device operates using the Hydronium technique. The HdrOzone Device can also be used as a hydrogen peroxide sterilization device via dedicated H2O2 sterilizer function programs.

BSCIENCE® HdrOzone Sterilization Device Operating Principle

The sterilization process is completed in 8 successive stages.

HdrOzone Operating Principle

After the chamber temperature reaches the selected value:

  1. Vacuum phase: The sterilization chamber is evacuated to -600 to -900 mBar vacuum.
  2. Injection phase: Vaporization of the 58%–60% H2O2 concentration and injection into the sterilization chamber.
  3. Diffusion phase: Diffusion of hydrogen peroxide to the materials to be sterilized in the chamber.
    • Oxygen is introduced into the system, converted to ozone, and delivered into the chamber.
    • Hydrogen peroxide and ozone diffuse to the materials to be sterilized in the chamber.
    • ADSORPTION of hydronium and heavy molecules for sterilization.
    • Dilution of hydrogen peroxide in the sterilization chamber.
  4. Plasma phase: HRF COLD PLASMA is generated in the sterilization chamber under an atmospheric vacuum of -300 to -700 mBar.
  5. Ventilation-Aeration phase: The sterilization chamber returns to normal atmospheric pressure.

Advantages of the HdrOzone® GI Sterilization Technique in Sterilization
  • The new hdrOzone technique and technology uses heavy molecules rather than only hydroxyl.
  • H2O2 + O3 and gaseous hydronium (H3O) are used instead of condensed H2O2.
  • Comprehensive sterilization safety and biofilm effectiveness.
  • Short sterilization cycle time.
  • Fast sterilization process under full load.
  • Sterilization of all types of materials under full load.
  • Up to 3 endoscope containers can be sterilized simultaneously.
  • Mixed-load capability.
  • Effective sterilization of all types of endoscopes without causing corrosion.
  • There is no need to separate long-lumen, short-lumen, loads, and other materials when placing materials into the sterilization chamber, nor is there a need to sterilize them separately!
  • There is no length limit for lumened devices!
  • Moist materials that are not wet can be sterilized. As with other hydrogen peroxide devices, product-drying operation is not required.
  • Completes sterilization at low temperature and humidity.
  • For sterilization of long and thin lumened devices (1 mm * 100 cm), it sterilizes multiple loads up to 15 meters (2 mm diameter) at full load without requiring a manufacturer declaration.
  • Suitable for temperature- and moisture-sensitive materials.
  • Since the final products are H2O and O2, there is no harm to the environment. It is a safe method for the environment and human health.
  • Suitable for full-load sterilization of very long and thin-lumen flexible surgical instruments.
  • A sterilization method that leaves no toxic residue.
  • Easy, convenient, and safe to use.
  • No auxiliary apparatus such as a booster is required.
  • No aeration time is required.
  • Reduces material-selection errors to zero. Reduces the need for qualified personnel.
  • Low unit sterilization cost and labor cost per material.
  • The HdrOzone device uses a standard H2O2 device cartridge.
  • Because sterilization in HdrOzone is performed at FULL load, cartridge consumption is one-third that of standard H2O2 devices.
HdrOzone® GI HRF3000 Sterilization Device INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Always transport the device using a pallet truck. From the unloading location to the installation location, move it using the device's wheels. The device must be installed by our Technical Service. After installation, personnel who will operate the device are trained and instructed on its operation.

For Installation;

  • A 220 V AC grounded outlet is required.
  • The installation room must have ventilation. The ambient temperature must be between +15 °C and +35 °C.
  • There must be at least 60 cm of free space at the rear and sides of the device.
  • A minimum 2 bar medical oxygen (O2) source is required. An oxygen cylinder or hospital oxygen supply can be used. Medical oxygen purity must be greater than 90%.
  • The HdrOzone device requires an exhaust connection on the wall.
  • The H2O2 solutions to be used must be stored in a cool place.
